I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was fantastic, situated in a charming and safe area of Troyes, which made exploring the city a breeze. The room was well-appointed and perfect for my family, allowing plenty of natural light to filter in. However, the service was hit or miss, with some staff members being less than friendly. The dining experience was great, with delicious homemade bread that we really enjoyed. Overall, it was good value for money, but the inconsistent service was a bit disappointing.

The room was well-appointed, letting in a lot of light and served as an ideal base for exploring the city.

The service was inconsistent; while some staff were helpful, others came across as rude and impatient.

The hotel is in an excellent location, nestled in a gated courtyard, making it both chic and safe, and just a short walk from major attractions.

The dining experience was superb; the food was delicious, and we especially loved the homemade bread.

The common areas could use some attention to cleanliness, as they felt chaotic and untidy.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, making it ideal for exploring Troyes. The rooms come with nice amenities like a coffee machine and kettle, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. Service was inconsistent—sometimes friendly, but other times felt a bit rude. Overall, it's a decent place but not without its quirks.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a coffee machine and kettle, which was great, but the large beam in the middle was a bit low for taller guests. The promised water and champagne were missing, which was disappointing.
Service
6.0
The service was a hit or miss; while some staff members were really friendly and helpful, others seemed a bit patronizing. The welcome drink was nice, though.
Location

The hotel is in a central location, perfect for visiting Troyes, but the entrance to the parking was tricky to navigate. It did feel a bit messy and chaotic around the area.
Dining

Breakfast was quite basic but included fresh items like breads and croissants, and eating in the courtyard was a lovely experience.
Facilities

While the facilities were okay, overall cleanliness was lacking, which affected the experience.

7.4/10

I had a pleasant stay overall and appreciated the charm of the hotel, despite a few minor issues. The rooms were welcoming, but there were some maintenance concerns, like a noisy fridge. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the old town with rich history. However, the service was a bit rushed at times, especially during check-in, though the staff was ultimately helpful. I enjoyed the dining experience, especially with the fresh treats delivered to my room. Overall, it was a reasonably priced stay that just needs a bit of polish.

The hotel is a charming historic property with a lot of atmosphere, but I was disappointed that the room wasn't an apartment as advertised. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly service, especially with the breakfast delivered right to my door. However, the location was muddy and inconvenient for getting to my car, which was a letdown. Overall, it's a unique spot with potential but some issues to address.

While the hotel is a historic property with a lovely atmosphere, I found the muddy path to my car very inconvenient.
Dining

The continental breakfast was impressive, made up of goodies from a local bakery, and was delivered right on schedule.

The hotel is newly renovated, which adds a nice touch, but the ground floor setup felt a bit cramped.

7.4/10

The hotel had a lot going for it, with lovely, well-equipped rooms that blended historic charm and modern amenities, and a great city center location. However, the service could be improved, as I encountered some impatience from the staff, which was disappointing. The dining experience was interesting but not quite exceptional, and there were some issues with additional costs for parking that should have been included. Overall, it offers good value for money, but some areas need refinement.

Rooms
9.0
I found the rooms exceptionally well kitted out with lovely beds, great showers, and a nice décor that respected the building's historic significance while providing modern services and air conditioning. The quiet courtyard added to the appeal, even if there was an A-frame beam that I had to be careful of.
Service
6.0
While the staff at the brasserie were enthusiastic and friendly, I did experience a moment of impatience from the front desk, calling to ask about our arrival when we hadn't reached yet. This made me feel a bit rushed at check-in, which was not ideal.
Location
8.0
The hotel boasts a fantastic location right in the city center, making it convenient for exploring. However, the parking entrance was tricky to navigate, and while they offer parking, it was a bit of a hassle, so I might recommend the nearby underground option.
Dining
7.0
Dining was an interesting experience; I enjoyed having breakfast in bed from a nice basket, but I wouldn’t say it blew me away. The grilled dishes were pleasant, but overall, it felt just okay.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had good facilities but nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. Everything I'd hoped for was there, but it lacked a certain charm in that area.
